I started out with a civil engineering degree, about as far from advertising as you can get. Then life took a turn: I landed in NYC with no plan, except that I knew I wasn't going to be a civil engineer. Somehow, I ended up at Three Jewels, where I rebranded an old Tibetan Buddhist center into something fresh and unmistakably alive. I owned all the creative and marketing, and under that direction, the studio became NYC's #1-rated yoga and meditation studio.

It was there, in a room full of people meditating, that the CCO of Havas happened to be one of them. He liked what he saw, not just in the practice, but in the creative work I was building around it. That conversation led me into Havas's office building, teaching meditation to their employees. A few years later, I made the leap to pursue creative work full-time.
